Hey all,
So, my Photography 101 professor let me in on a little trick he has used before when his students advised him that they could not afford expensive lighting kits. He told me I could go to a mom and pops hardware store to purchase a clamp-on lamp that would run me no more than $10 each. He was absolutely right. During my day off in school I decided to visit a hardware store in the city. It turns out that they had tons of construction lamps, which I would definitely be able to use in a homemade studio. And so, I immediately purchased the lamps with the best studio resembling lights I could find. All together I spent $24 and here are the test shots I came up with. FYI: They are all unedited and were shot fairly quickly (without any thoughts of creativity behind the shots).
