Today was a great day, but a very very busy one. Billy and I were running around all over the school trying to get signatures for the new equipment we are in the process of buying for our club this semester. Our club treasurer is very hard to reach so we also have to appoint a new treasurer as soon as possible. We are getting a total of $1,983.85 in camera equipment and I am very excited because I will get to take some good photos of the major Fashion Show that is going to be held this semester in our school. I will definitely post those photos after the event to demonstrate the power of the equipment we purchased.
On another note: today was blazing hot! O-M-G, the temperature went well into the upper 80’s and it is not even June yet! The only thing that saved us from heat exhaustion was the wind; it was very windy and it felt sooo good in the shade. Here is a photo I took of Danica, while she played with the flowers in the garden at Washington Market Park:
Before

Went to the park with Monica, her Aunt, Uncle, and the kids. We bought bags full of prizes to hand the kids after they hunted for easter eggs. There were many memorable moments, especially the time Kaili (who is about 10 years old) whined like a baby when JJ and Danica ran to pick up the same easter egg she was attempting to get – mind you, she had more eggs than all of them put together lol. If you wanna see the other photos you can head over to Monica’s blog at monicacatral.wordpress.com

Went to Central Park yesterday. It was about the 5th time since the warm spring season has arrived. We’ve been loving every minute of it. I believe Monica, however, enjoyed it just a tad too much when I bought kites for all of us. She was louder than the kids when she got her kite to fly at its peak altitude. I think she scared a few people away lol. I took some pics but none of them with us flying kites; I’ve been way too lazy lately…

We, and the kids, decided to go see “Alice in Wonderland,” the 3D Imax version, a few days ago. I was kind of expecting a lot from that movie — mainly because it was showing on a theater that costs nearly $20 per seat. Well, as it turns out, it totally bombed! The kids didn’t even react to whatever “humor” there was, if there even was any. For two hours they just sat there. And, the worst part about it was that they were so excited to go and see it.
What a waste of money that was… next time I will read reviews before dropping any of my precious dollars on a hyped up movie. Anyway, we did get some funny pictures of Danica wearing her 3D glasses lol

This photo was taken on August 7, 2009. I was organizing my photo folders yesterday and I stumbled across this photo, asking myself why I had not put it up before. I love this photo because it reminds me so much of the times we spend at Central Park during the summers. We always head to Central Park during the summer: it’s our favorite past time. And, every time we learn something new about photography, we can’t wait to test it out – so pack our stuff and spend some time in the park trying out our new photographic techniques.
Here is Monica and Danica on a very nice day:

Monica started her blog a few days ago and I’m really happy for her because I know she’s always had a wild imagination. Perhaps this blog will allow her to reach into her creative side and discover something within her that she has not seen in a long time. She is also a really big fan of fashion and I’m sure a lot of women would be interested in seeing what things she has to say about clothing in general. Anyway, here is one photo, from the collection of photos we took for her blog:
I was bored this weekend and decided to do some photoshopping. Here’s Monica as a manga (before and after included):

Hi all,
I took a photo of Danica the other day and decided to experiment with it in Photoshop. I originally intended on having loads of candy raining into her mouth, but I later found out it would take me forever to edit that on Photoshop. Therefore, here is what I ended up with instead:
