Congratulations to Christopher and Anthe Oliver! Monica, Gilfredo, and I shot this wedding on April 19, 2010. This was the second wedding I got the chance to shoot and I didn’t wanna do it on my own so I asked Monica and Gil to help me out. Monica was pretty excited about being able to photograph a wedding so she definitely had to come along with me. It turned out to be a pretty entertaining experience; although, I had tons of school work I’ve been having to take care of. Nevertheless, I took the time to edit the pics and this is how they turned out. I hope you guys like them.

Hey guys,

I just logged on today because I wanted to update my blog. After entering my blog’s url in my address bar, I was led to a page I’ve never seen before. Lo and behold, it turned out some one hacked onto my account. This has never happened to me before, so I was  a bit shocked when I saw it. All that I know is that I was hacked by a group of people leaving the following banner as their trademark:

The following perpetrators were also listed on my blog as contributors to the hacking: BobyHikaru, zee_eichel, z0mb13, Syst3m_RtO, bom2stalker, SyNTaX ErRoR, flyff666, bL4Ck_3n91n3, dexter, Ichito_Bandito, and a few more.

They even changed my wordpress username and I had to create a completely new wordpress account. I have no idea how they changed my username because all usernames are permanent on wordpress. I have also found some information about one of the main perpetrators, who goes by the name of james0baster, and I found him on facebook and twitter. So, if any of you know more information about these people, who also go by the name “Indonesian Hacker Team,” please let me know ASAP.

Thanks guys

Today was a great day, but a very very busy one. Billy and I were running around all over the school trying to get signatures for the new equipment we are in the process of buying for our club this semester. Our club treasurer is very hard to reach so we also have to appoint a new treasurer as soon as possible. We are getting a total of $1,983.85 in camera equipment and I am very excited because I will get to take some good photos of the major Fashion Show that is going to be held this semester in our school. I will definitely post those photos after the event to demonstrate the power of the equipment we purchased.

On another note: today was blazing hot! O-M-G, the temperature went well into the upper 80’s and it is not even June yet! The only thing that saved us from heat exhaustion was the wind; it was very windy and it felt sooo good in the shade. Here is a photo I took of Danica, while she played with the flowers in the garden at Washington Market Park:

Before

Went to the park with Monica, her Aunt, Uncle, and the kids. We bought bags full of prizes to hand the kids after they hunted for easter eggs. There were many memorable moments, especially the time Kaili (who is about 10 years old) whined like a baby when JJ and Danica ran to pick up the same easter egg she was attempting to get – mind you, she had more eggs than all of them put together lol. If you wanna see the other photos you can head over to Monica’s blog at monicacatral.wordpress.com

Went to Central Park yesterday. It was about the 5th time since the warm spring season has arrived. We’ve been loving every minute of it. I believe Monica, however, enjoyed it just a tad too much when I bought kites for all of us. She was louder than the kids when she got her kite to fly at its peak altitude. I think she scared a few people away lol. I took some pics but none of them with us flying kites; I’ve been way too lazy lately…

Today I went with Billy to the post office. We had to submit our letters of recommendation and transcripts today. Yesterday we submitted our applications via the internet. I think I almost fainted from the feeling that in that one minute our life will now be in the hands of the admission officers of NYU. I know Billy definitely has a good chance of getting in, but me… eh.. not so likely. I guess I will have to wait until May or June to find out my results.

Wish me luck guys.

BTW, Billy wanted to stop by a Jamba Juice demonstration to exercise himself a fruit smoothie. Here are the pics:

We, and the kids, decided to go see “Alice in Wonderland,” the 3D Imax version, a few days ago. I was kind of expecting a lot from that movie — mainly because it was showing on a theater that costs nearly $20 per seat. Well, as it turns out, it totally bombed! The kids didn’t even react to whatever “humor”  there was, if there even was any. For two hours they just sat there. And, the worst part about it was that they were so excited to go and see it.

What a waste of money that was… next time I will read reviews before dropping any of my precious dollars on a hyped up movie.  Anyway, we did get some funny pictures of Danica wearing her 3D glasses lol

This photo was taken on August 7, 2009. I was organizing my photo folders yesterday and I stumbled across this photo, asking myself why I had not put it up before. I love this photo because it reminds me so much of the times we spend at Central Park during the summers. We always head to Central Park during the summer: it’s our favorite past time. And, every time we learn something new about photography, we can’t wait to test it out – so pack our stuff and spend some time in the park trying out our new photographic techniques.

Here is Monica and Danica on a very nice day:

Monica started her blog a few days ago and I’m really happy for her because I know she’s always had a wild imagination. Perhaps this blog will allow her to reach into her creative side and discover something within her that she has not seen in a long time. She is also a really big fan of fashion and I’m sure a lot of women would be interested in seeing what things she has to say about clothing in general. Anyway, here is one photo, from the collection of photos we took for her blog:

For the past few weeks I was supposed to be working on a documentary for my photography 2 class. I had decided to do a documentary on the struggles of parenthood. However, as time went on, I learned that it would take me more than 3 weeks to complete an assignment like that. In 3 weeks time, I had only photographed 3 families, and I was not at all satisfied with how the photographs came out.

It turns out that luck was on my side when I attended the Saint Patrick’s day parade because that was a one day event where I could get hundreds of shots for my project. The Professor is asking that we submit 20 edited and 20 unedited photos. By edited he means cropped and color corrected. Therefore, all of the photos I am uploading here have only been edited as requested by the professor.

And the soldiers head home after the parade
